Taxation
Taxation can be complex! In recent years, many business owners have adopted a different type of ownership, which is the formation of a Limited Company (LTD). This is with the intention of saving tax. Shareholders of the company have the ability to receive ‘dividends’, a relative sum of money amongst shareholders. This doesn’t attract any national insurance contributions, plus the abolition of Advance Corporation Tax (ACT) a number of years ago, the incentive for incorporation increases.
The change in tax being paid in advance under self assessment rules for Self Employed & Partnerships is also removed by incorporation, as lesser tax being spread over a longer period; therefore aiding financial forecasting and cashflow.
Businesses have a legal obligation to comply with a number of taxation tasks, but don’t worry, we offer services to cover all of these activities; plus we deal with Inland Revenue – so you don’t have to.
